⚔️ Weapon Skills – What do they affect?
- Sword/Axe/Club: Melee damage (Knights)
- Distance: Ranged damage (Paladins)
- Magic Level: Spell damage (Mages)
In Tibia, your weapon skills (sword, axe, club, distance) and shielding determine how much damage you deal – and take. This guide gives an overview of what they do, rough formulas, and the practical impact of each skill.
Higher skill levels increase base DPS and consistency. The effect is not perfectly linear – some breakpoints give bigger jumps than others.

Shielding reduces incoming physical damage from frontal attacks when using a shield. The higher your shielding skill, the more damage gets blocked.
Again: these are estimates to illustrate the curve, not exact in-game values.
