⚔️ Vocations

A player’s vocation defines their entire journey in Tibia. It determines their combat style, how they earn gold, which monsters they prefer to hunt, and their role in teams.

When a character leaves Dawnport for the mainland, the player must choose one of the following vocations:

  • Knight: Masters of melee combat using swords, axes, or clubs. Knights have the highest HP, capacity, and shielding, but very slow magic progression.
  • Paladin: Experts in distance fighting using bows and crossbows. Paladins deal consistent ranged damage and have decent mana and shielding.
  • Druid: Focused on healing, support, and elemental magic (ice and earth). Druids level up Magic Level very quickly and are essential in team hunts.
  • Sorcerer: Offensive magic specialists using fire, energy, and death spells. Sorcerers have the highest burst damage and excel at PvE and PvP.
  • Monk: Hybrid melee casters using Fist Fighting and magical energy. Monks build Harmony with builder spells, spend it on powerful abilities, and can enter a Serene state to amplify their power.

Druids and Sorcerers are the best for large hunts thanks to AoE spells (like Wrath of Nature or Hell’s Core) and runes. Knights and Paladins start strong in single combat but gain AoE abilities at higher levels.

📈 Skill Progression

  • Knight: Fastest in Fist, Sword, Club, Axe Fighting and Shielding. Very slow in Magic Level.
  • Paladin: Fastest in Distance Fighting. Moderate progression in Magic and Shielding.
  • Druid & Sorcerer: Fastest in Magic Level. Very slow in melee or distance skills.
  • Monk: Fastest in Fist Fighting and Magic Level. Balanced progression for hybrid play.

Note: Fishing skill progresses equally for all vocations.
